Shelly
Once you have linked your Shelly device to the Clevergy app, you may have the following questions:
How to check if Shelly devices are correctly linked to the Clevergy app
For appliances that are not aerothermal systems:
- Go to Profile → Smart Devices, where all linked devices will appear without the “Unassigned” label.
- Click on each device to review its configuration, ensuring that measurement points and categories are correctly assigned. You can edit and save the new configuration.
In the Device Control Module, you will see:
- Device names as assigned by the user in Shelly Cloud. To edit them, use the Shelly Cloud web/app.
- Icons: Assigned based on the supply point type/category selected in “Smart Devices.”
- Power (kW): Displays the power usage of each device.
- Switch: Appears only for devices with granted control permissions. Green = active (on), gray = inactive (off).
For aerothermal systems - Configuring Shelly EM in smart devices
- Go to Profile → Smart Devices and select “Aerothermal” to configure it.
- If the device was not preconfigured, it will have an “Unassigned” label. The Shelly EM device type cannot be edited.
- Select “Aerothermal” in the “Main Measurement Point” selector.
- Click “Save” to complete the configuration.
Once aerothermal monitoring is set up, real-time installation data and todays power balance will be displayed. If the device loses connection, it is likely due to a weak router signal. Move the router closer, but if issues persist, note that instant power may not always be visible in the app. However, Shelly continues measuring consumption, so energy usage data for a given period will still be available.
