Communication sending rules

Description​

Clevergy coordinates emails and notifications so users are informed without being overloaded. Our delivery engine spaces messages, merges events when possible, and respects per-channel limits.

These rules apply by default. Contact us if you need adjustments for your workspace.

Current limits​

  • Monthly report: max 1 per month
  • New invoice: max 1 every 10 days
  • Surplus generation notification: max 1 per week

How it works​

  • Priority and spacing: when multiple events occur close together, messages are queued and spaced to avoid bursts.
  • Per-user deduplication: if a user already received a similar message recently, the system skips duplicates.
  • Channel awareness: we balance email and in-app notifications to keep total contact frequency within limits.
  • Safe retries: temporary failures are retried with backoff without exceeding user frequency caps.
