Requirements​

To ensure the euros functionality works correctly for your users, you must configure the following components:

1. Hourly Consumption Data​

Users need detailed hourly consumption data to calculate precise energy costs. This data can be provided through:

  • Smart meters connected to the platform
  • Huawei OAuth Integration: Alternative integration method for Huawei devices
  • Other compatible energy monitoring devices

2. Configured Energy Contract​

Users must have an active energy contract in the app with correctly configured pricing information. This contract serves as the basis for all euro calculations.

3. Price Configuration​

The following pricing information must be accurately set up in the user's contract:

Fixed Costs:

  • Contracted power: The maximum power (kW) contracted with the energy provider
  • Power tariff: Monthly cost per kW of contracted power
  • Equipment rental: Monthly rental costs for meters or other equipment
  • Social bonus financing: Any applicable social assistance programs

Variable Costs:

  • Price per kWh: The cost per kilowatt-hour of energy consumed
  • Energy taxes: Applicable taxes on energy consumption (e.g., electricity tax)
  • Power taxes: Taxes applicable to contracted power
  • VAT: Value Added Tax applied to the total bill

How Euros are calculated​

The euros calculation is based on the energy billing formula:

Fixed Expenses​

  • Contracted power: Monthly cost for the power users have contracted
  • Power taxes: Taxes applicable to power
  • Other fixed costs: Fixed charges from the contract

Variable Expenses​

  • Energy consumption: kWh consumed * price per kWh
  • Energy taxes: Taxes applicable to consumption

Detailed Hourly Fixed Cost Formula​

Hourly Fixed Cost = (Contracted kW * Power Tariff) / 24 + (Equipment Rental / 24) + (Social Bonus Financing €/day / 24) + Power IE + Power VAT

- Power IE = [(Contracted kW * Power Tariff) / 24] * 5.113%
- Power VAT = Hourly Fixed Cost * 21%

While the app shows data by hours, days, and months, actual bills may have irregular periods (28, 30, 31 days). The euros calculation in the app provides a precise breakdown of costs based on the configured contract terms.

How do my users update their contract prices?​

No, you must update these prices in the portal or through an integration with their billing provider, such as Audinfor, Enexpa, or Gisce.

Can my users set custom spending limits?​

Yes, users can configure spending alerts by going to My profile → Alerts Settings, setting limits in euros for different periods, and receiving notifications when they exceed them.

Do the euros include all costs from my users' bills?​

Yes, the euros include energy consumption, contracted power, and taxes.
