Huawei integration
This table shows which data and features are available for each Huawei inverter integration method.

When solar production, energy consumption or energy surplus data is downloaded from Huawei, it takes priority over data from any other connected inverter or grid meter (e.g., Datadis).
Setup from the portal
API integration
Follow these steps to integrate the Huawei inverter via API, using the installer's credentials:
- Go to Settings → My Integrations.
- Click the Add Inverter button.
- Select the Huawei brand.
- Fill in the following fields:
- Name: A descriptive name to identify the inverter.
- Username and System Code: These credentials must be created in Fusion Solar by an Administrator account.
- Your Huawei inverter integration via API is now ready to use.
How to obtain username and system code:
- Log in to Fusion Solar.
- Navigate to More → System → Enterprise Management.
- Select Northbound Management.
- Click Add to create an API account.
- Complete the required fields:
- Username: The name of your company followed by "api" (e.g., "Instaladora PJX api").
- Password
- Associated Account: A dropdown will appear. Select the account with "Admin" permissions.
- Expiration Date: The furthest possible date.
- Assign all installations and grant API access permissions.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
- Finally, enter the Username and System Code obtained in Fusion Solar into the portal fields and save.
OAuth integration
Follow these steps to integrate the Huawei inverter using OAuth, allowing users to add their own credentials:
- In the Integrations section, administrators can configure the Huawei OAuth integration under the Inverters subsection.
- To enable this integration for end users, check in Settings if it is activated. If the integration does not appear, you can request its activation.
Setup from the App
Only end users who meet the following requerimients will be able to complete this process:
- To have FusionSolar username and password
- To have owner permissions associated with their installation.
OAuth permissions must be configured in the portal before allowing end users to connect their plant through the app following these steps:
- Go to More → Connections in the app.
- Tap on Huawei to start the connection process.
- On the Connect your installation screen, confirm the connection request.
- Log in to FusionSolar using your username and password.
- Authorize the integration by checking the required permission boxes.
Once authorized, your Huawei installation will be connected and ready for monitoring through the app.

Creating an owner-type user in Huawei's FusionSolar system:
In case the end user does not have FusionSolar account with owner permissions, the installer should:
- Log in to the FusionSolar Web Portal with an account that has the necessary permissions (usually a Company Administrator or Installer).
- Navigate to System → Company Management.
- Select the relevant company or subsidiary from the navigation tree and click Add user.
- Enter the new user's information: name, email, and mobile number. Click Next.
- Assign the Owner role and proceed by clicking Next.
- Associate the plant(s) the Owner will access by moving them to the user's account using the blue arrow button.
- Review the information and click Confirm to create the Owner account.
