Datadis integration

The Datadis integration allows access to electricity consumption data, based on the supply points associated with the user.

Setup from the portal

Administrators can manage and monitor Datadis integrations for users, using their credentials if they are Datadis partners. To become a Datadis partner, a formal agreement with Datadis must be signed. Once registered, partners can onboard users through two methods:

  1. Registration via external application

External apps can redirect users to Datadis registration using a link or embedded form. Supported flows:

  • Digital certificate: For users with DNI/NIE.
  • DNI/NIE + CUPS: Requires an image of the document and a valid CUPS code.
  • CIF + CUPS: Exclusive for CIF, requiring the associated CUPS.

Document validation is required before the user is fully registered. Both GET and POST methods are supported, with structured success and error responses.

Monitoring registration status

Datadis provides integration statuses that help monitor each user’s progress:

  • NOT_UPLOADED: User added to Clevergy but not yet registered in Datadis
  • NOT_HOLDER: No supply points found in Datadis after 7 days.
  • WAITING_SUPPLIES: Supply points found, but not matching with the home in Clevergy
  • CONNECTED: Supply point successfully linked .
  • DISCONNECTED: Datadis stops sending data from a previously connected house.
  1. Registration in the private area

Partners can manually register users from the Datadis partner area after verifying identity and CUPS:

  • Individuals: DNI/NIE + CUPS
  • Companies: CIF + CUPS

Setup from the app

Users can access their home's electricity consumption data. To do this, users must authorize Clevergy to access their data through the Datadis platform by following these steps:

How to connect with Datadis

To start the integration process:

  • Go to Connections section in the app and select Datadis to start the authorization process. You might also be able to access it by tapping any call-to-action shown when no data source is connected.
  • Enter your full name and identification number (DNI or CIF).
  • An in-app browser will open to begin the Datadis authorization process:
    • Individuals must upload a photo of their DNI and enter their CUPS code.
    • Companies must provide their CUPS code and CIF/NIF.
  • Complete the steps on the screen to finalize the authorization.

Check the module here.

What happens after completing the authorization?

Once the process is finished, Datadis will verify your information with your electricity distributor. This verification can take some time.

note

While the verification is ongoing, the app will display a message: "Waiting for consumption data from your distributor". As soon as access is confirmed, your consumption data will begin to appear in the app, and you can start using all available features.

What information Clevergy retrieves from Datadis

  • Consumption history: As soon as access is granted, Clevergy retrieves up to 12 months of hourly consumption data, helping you visualize past energy usage.
  • Data update frequency: Consumption data is updated daily at 6 AM. Occasionally, updates may be delayed depending on the distributor's data availability. If data is missing for more than 14 days, the app will show a notification and Clevergy will follow up with Datadis.
  • Consumption latency: On average, the most recent data available comes with a 2-day delay, meaning data shown today typically corresponds to the day before yesterday.
  • Maximum power demand: We retrieve your maximum power demand for the past 12 months, which allows Clevergy to suggest optimizations to your contracted power.
  • Neighbor comparison: Clevergy also accesses aggregated consumption data from users in your postal code, enabling you to compare your usage with others in your area.

Important considerations

  • Datadis errors: In some cases, data cannot be retrieved due to issues with the distributor or authorization process. If you don’t see data after several days, please contact Clevergy support. We will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
  • Legal conditions: All authorization and data access is governed by Datadis' legal terms and conditions. Clevergy retrieves and processes consumption data in full compliance with these terms and only with user consent.
