Sungrow integration
The Sungrow integration allows administrators to connect and monitor Sungrow inverters through the platform.
Setup from the portal
Installer credentials integration
Follow these steps to integrate the Sungrow inverter using the installer's credentials:
- Log in to the Sungrow monitoring platform as an installer or site admin.
- Go to Admin → Site Access.
- Enable the Enable API Access option.
- Click Generate API Key and copy the provided key. The API Key is unique to each site and only available to installer/admin accounts.
- Go to Settings → My Integrations in the portal.
- Click Add Inverter.
- Select the Sungrow brand.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Name: To identify your inverter later.
- API Key: The credentials generated in step 3.
- Access Key: The credentials generated in step 3.
- Username: The credentials generated in step 3.
- Password: The credentials generated in step 3.
Once completed, your Sungrow inverter is integrated.
User credentials integration
Follow these steps to integrate the Sungrow inverter using the end user credentials:
- In the Integrations section, administrators can configure the Sungrow OAuth integration under the Inverters subsection.
- To enable this integration for end users, check in Settings if it is activated. If the integration does not appear, you can request its activation.
Setup from the App
Only end users who meet the following requirements will be able to complete this process:
- Have Sungrow monitoring platform username and password.
- Have owner permissions associated with their installation.
Steps:
- Go to More → Connections in the app.
- Tap on Sungrow to start the connection process.
- On the Connect your installation screen, confirm the connection request.
- Log in to the Sungrow platform with your credentials.
- Authorize the integration by checking the required permission boxes.
Once authorized, your Sungrow installation will be connected and ready for monitoring through the app.
Monitoring capabilities
Once integrated, you will have access to:
- Real-time production data
- Energy consumption and balance
- Production and consumption graphs
- System alerts and installation status
- Battery management and monitoring (if applicable)
note
Battery actions are not time-limited, the inverter maintains the current state (charge, discharge, or pause) until a new command is received.
