Sungrow integration

The Sungrow integration allows to connect and monitor Sungrow inverters through the platform.

Setup from the portal​

Installer credentials integration​

Follow these steps to integrate a Sungrow inverter using installer credentials:

  1. Log in to the Sungrow developer portal
  2. Go to Applications and create a new application.
  3. Fill in the required information and select NOT to authorize with Oauth2.0
  4. Click Create application and wait for Sungrow to approve it. Once the application is approved, you will be able to access your credentials. This approval process can take a few days.
  5. Go to Settings → My Integrations in the Clevergy portal.
  6. Click Add Inverter.
  7. Select Sungrow as the brand.
  8. Fill in the required fields:
    • Name: Identifier for this integration in the portal (e.g. Production, Test).
    • API Key: Provided by Sungrow after application approval.
    • Access Key: Provided by Sungrow after application approval.
    • Username: Installer username associated with the application.
    • Password: Installer password associated with the application.

Once completed, your Sungrow inverter is integrated.

User credentials integration​

Follow these steps to integrate a Sungrow inverter using installer credentials:

  1. Log in to the Sungrow developer portal
  2. Go to Applications and create a new application.
  3. Fill in the required information and authorize the application using Oauth2.0
  4. Click Create application and wait for Sungrow to approve it. Once the application is approved, you will be able to access your credentials. This approval process can take a few days.
  5. Go to Settings → My Integrations in the Clevergy portal.
  6. Click Add Inverter.
  7. Select Sungrow as the brand.
  8. Fill in the required fields:
    • Name: Identifier for this integration in the portal (e.g. Production, Test).
    • API Key: Provided by Sungrow after application approval.
    • Access Key: Provided by Sungrow after application approval.

Once completed, your Sungrow inverter is integrated and data will be available immediately in the portal.

Setup from the App​

Only end users who meet the following requirements will be able to complete this process:

  • Have Sungrow monitoring platform username and password.
  • Have owner permissions associated with their installation.

Steps:

  1. Go to More → Connections in the app.
  2. Tap on Sungrow to start the connection process.
  3. On the Connect your installation screen, confirm the connection request.
  4. Log in to the Sungrow platform with your credentials.
  5. Authorize the integration by checking the required permission boxes.

Once authorized, your Sungrow installation will be connected and ready for monitoring through the app.

Monitoring capabilities​

Once integrated, you will have access to:

  • Real-time installation data
  • Energy production and consumption
  • Production and consumption graphs
  • System alerts and installation status
  • Battery monitoring and management (if applicable)
note

Battery actions are not time-limited, the inverter maintains the current state (charge, discharge, or pause) until a new command is received.
