Datadis
Datadis allows users to access their home's smart meter to retrieve energy consumption data. To do this, users must authorize us to access Datadis by following this process:
How to connect with Datadis
To start the integration process:
- Go to the "Connections" section, click on Datadis or use any call to action (visible when you have no data connections) that guides you on how to authorize us to retrieve your consumption data.
- Enter your name, surname, and DNI/CIF.
- An in-app browser will open for authorization:
- Individuals must provide a photo of their DNI and their CUPS code.
- Companies must enter their CUPS code and their Tax Identification Number (NIF).
- Complete the authorization process to finalize the connection.
What happens after completing the authorization?
Once the connection process is finished, Datadis needs to verify your information with the distributor and authorize our access to retrieve your consumption data.
While this process is ongoing, the app will display a "Waiting for consumption data from your distributor" message, so the user knows that the connection is still in progress. As soon as the verification is complete, your energy consumption data will be available in the app, allowing them to start exploring your energy usage and using all app features.
What kind of information Clevergy retrieves from Datadis
- Consumption history: as soon as Datadis grants us access to user data, we retrieve up to 12 months of historical hourly consumption, allowing them to visualize past energy usage in the app.
- Data update frequency: consumption data is updated daily at 6 AM. However, there may be occasional delays due to data availability from the distributor. If we are unable to retrieve data for more than 14 days, we will display a notification indicating an issue and contact Datadis to resolve it as soon as possible.
- Consumption latency: The average delay in obtaining consumption data from Datadis is two days. This means that under normal conditions, the most recent available data will be from the day before yesterday.
- Maximum power demand: We retrieve the maximum power demand recorded over the past year, allowing us to provide recommendations on potential power adjustments.
- Neighbor consumption: We obtain consumption data from users in your postal code, so users can compare their energy usage with others in their area.
Important considerations
- Datadis errors: In some cases, Datadis may be unable to retrieve data from the distributor. If you encounter any issues, such as a delay of several days without connection, please contact support. We will assist you in resolving the issue promptly.
- Legal conditions: The entire authorization process is subject to Datadis' legal terms and conditions. All data retrieval must comply with these terms.
