User communications
The portal supports several automated and manual email communications to keep users informed and engaged. Each type can be enabled independently based on your workspace configuration.
Welcome email
A welcome email encourages new users to explore the app, download it, and start accessing their home energy data.
What it includes
- A personalized welcome message.
- A direct link to download the app.
- Step-by-step instructions to log in using the registered email.
When it is sent
The welcome email is sent in two scenarios:
- Manually: from the user's screen in the portal (see below).
- Automatically: when an existing user authorizes access to another user who does not yet have an account. In this case, the new user receives the welcome email automatically upon being registered.
How to manually send a welcome email
- Go to the user's screen in the portal.
- Click the Welcome email button, located within the actions section to the right of the user's full name (top-right corner).
- The user will receive the email. If they don't receive it, ask them to check their spam folder.
Requirements
- A verified and configured email address with our email provider.
- The magic link login option must be enabled.
Monthly report email
Automated monthly consumption reports are sent to users on the 5th of each month, including personalized insights and smart call-to-actions based on the user's installation type.
Standard email: monthly consumption evolution vs. the previous month, annual comparison (if available), and an "Available in the app" CTA.
Solar email: all standard content plus a "View my installation in real time" CTA for real-time installation monitoring.
Requirements
- Minimum 20 days of consumption data from the previous month.
- Active user with valid email and house data.
- Verified email configuration in the portal.
- Annual comparison only displays if previous year data exists.

Standard user engagement
- User receives monthly report showing 15% consumption increase vs May.
- Annual comparison shows 8% decrease vs June 2023.
- CTA encourages app download: "Available in the app".

Invoice notification
An automated email is sent to the client when a new invoice is available in the app. The message includes a button to open the app and view the invoice for the corresponding billing period.
Requirements
- Feature enabled for your workspace.
- The client receives a new invoice linked to their contract. Invoices can be generated automatically via integrations such as Audinfor, Enexpa, or the Connect API, or uploaded manually from the portal.
