SMA integration (beta)

The SMA integration allows to connect and monitor SMA inverters through the end-user credentials.

Setup from the portal​

  1. To enable the integration, you must first obtain SMA client credentials.

How to obtain SMA client credentials:

  1. Contact SMA developer support: Request access to the SMA Monitoring API and ask for Client ID and Client Secret.

  2. Receive and store your credentials: SMA will issue your Client ID and Client Secret. Store them securely.

  3. Share credentials with Clevergy

  4. Once the client credentials are in place, end users can connect their SMA systems by logging in with their Sunny Portal account.

To enable the integration:

  • In the Integrations section, administrators can configure the SMA integration under the Inverters subsection.
  • To enable this integration for end users, check in Settings if it is activated. If the integration does not appear, you can request its activation.

This integration is currently in beta and only offers information about plants, devices and alerts.
